Fourth of July Weekend

Campfires, hotdogs, sing-alongs, guesstures, and GREAT friends all make for a perfect July 4th weekend.  Throw in a rodeo and beautiful weather and nothing can beat it.  For now, anyway.

Here are a few pictures from our first tree-chopping, firewood-getting trip of the year from the mountains behind our house.  I saw my first moose!

Wedding Day - May 22, 2010

All of our wedding pictures from our photographers (raeleytham.com) haven't been posted yet, but they did tease us with a few that I'd like to share.  And I thought I'd post a few from guests too.

Living It Up

As tempting as it is to abandon this blog and rely on Facebook to share our adventures with family/friends, I will not give up! Mostly, because my sweet Mother has yet to dive into the addicting world of Facebook and partly because it's just kind of fun.

Our first month of marriage has been fantastic, as expected. Even though we lived together before we were married, there's just something special about being husband and wife. It feels different, but I can't explain why.

We absolutely LOVE living in the beautiful state of Montana. We have made some amazing friends who we love and cherish and are beginning to take advantage of all the fun our little part of the world offers. Horseback riding, camping, hiking, rodeos, rafting, fishing. . .there are so many new and beautiful places to explore here. Of course, we truly miss all of our family and friends in Alabama/Florida. There are many times we wish it were possible to take weekend getaways to visit everyone.  However, everyone please keep in mind that "Hotel Williamson" is open year round so make your reservation today!  We enjoy showing people what we love about this valley.

My loan repayment application with the National Health Service Corps was approved so we will be in Sheridan at least until May 31, 2012. After that, who knows where we'll go!

Our "new" camper is the one on the left.
