Daily Chores
Chris says that when I get cold I should cut up wood because it helps build strong muscles AND keeps me warm. Boy, is he smart. How lucky am I to have found such a wonderful man?
NOTE: For those of you that don't know Chris, this is just a little inside joke we have going. He really isn't controlling. . .at least that's what he told me to write. :)

Carpenter Chris
Last Saturday, we spent the day at Bill and Carolyn's. We hooked the 23' trailer up to Bill's truck to go get some hay (3 round bales weighing 1800 lbs each) and got stuck in the snow/ice in the driveway! It took us the John Deere and about an hour to get out. Under the supervision of Bill, apprentice Carpenter Chris then attempted to build a box for our starter wood. Luckily, our carpenter wannabe didn't lose any fingers.
Buddy and Me
Our friends Bill and Carolyn have horses that love carrots. Buddy is not shy at all and will sniff you up and down until he finds the goods. He made me blush! Anyway, this video just shows how strong he is.
Snowmobiling
Last Sunday, we went snowmobiling with our friends Tater and Debbie. I was a newbie, but Chris has been once before. In his words, "I'm a natural athlete and can do anything." HA! Getting stuck wasn't so much fun, but we had a blast. I'm still sore because my neck isn't used to supporting a 4 pound helmet. Also, I think those snowmobiles need seatbelts!
Greetings Alabamians!
While driving the 45 minutes back from the grocery store today, I decided that now would be a good time to create a blog. What better way to share our adventures here in Montana? Life is completely different out here. . .traffic jams are caused by cows, there are dog-eating birds (Maggie’s new nickname is Eagle Bait), the nearest WalMart is an hour away, and you can’t wear flip flops year round! As different as it is, we LOVE it! So, to start off our blog I’m posting some of our favorite pictures of the local scenery.
